A pride of lions after a Warthog kill: bonding by much mutual grooming. The bonds within a pride of lions can be very strong and are constantly being reinforced. Here, the subadults of the breakaway Enkoyanai pride, having just killed and consumed a Warthog began a lot of mutual grooming hence reinforcing the bonds within the pride as well as being a cleaning exercise. Hyenas lurked close by should there be anything left. After the grooming was over the lions set off together and found a place for drink.
