A pride of lions on the move across the Maasai Mar. We had spent quite some time with the enormous breakaway Ilkisiausiau pride of Lions in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. It had been a challenge keeping up with them as they moved effortlessly across the plain. We did manage to get ahead of them and it was fun to watch their approach particularly when some of the subadults with help from the cubs decided to climb a small tree and survey their surroundings. Such fun to be with a pride of lions on the move across the Maasai Mara. We had managed to see about 26 of the lions in this pride which numbers more than 40.
