Leopard on the rock. We had spent about one hour watching this leopard (Natito) as she wandered through uninspiring habitat in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. We had hoped she would hunt or do something of interest. Our guide said she liked a particular rocky outcrop to view her territory so we positioned accordingly. The Leopard had read the script and did exactly as predicted. Amazing! Expecting and then seeing a Leopard on the rocks was exciting. The poses she adopted were stunning. Big cats in Kenya’s Maasai Mara are a wonder to behold. So regal! A special encounter!
