Lion cubs playing around a tree stump. The Breakaway likisiausiau pride of lions had emerged from the bushes as the day was drawing to a close. They were scattered over quite some distance in the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Two small cubs were having fun chasing each other around a tree stump. This pride is currently sixty strong and may split up soon. There were nine females, two pride males and many sub adults. There were multiple cubs aged five months and upwards. At times it was hard to know where to point the camera. Fortunately, these two cubs had chosen a small area just for themselves. Such great fun to watch lion cubs playing around a tree stump without a care in the world. This is one impressive pride of lions!
