Lioness with her six week old cubs in the den. In the Naboisho Conservancy of Kenya’s Maasai Mara, a lioness from the Breakaway likisiausiau pride had two six week old cubs. She had the cubs in a den in dense bushes. But on this occasion they were clearly visible. It was so pleasant to see the interactions between mother and cubs. Such a privilege to watch a lioness wit hher six week old cubs in the den. After putting on a very enjoyable display, the cubs headed back into the depths of the den and their mother fell asleep.
