White-Tailed Sea Eagles. During our one month stay on Finnoya, Norway, we did two trips to Steigen to view White-tailed Sea Eagles. We were guided by local expert, Aasmund Gylseth. We caught fish to bait the eagles which were waiting on the surrounding hilltops. These large birds are fast and agile when swooping down for the fish. A most impressive sight. Some of the fish we caught we too big for the eagles so we took them back to our cabin and cooked them for supper. Delicious!
