Amazing Komodo Dragons. June 2017 saw us in Indonesia where the prime target was to film Komodo Dragons. Sailing out of Flores on board the delightful M/V Adishree, we enjoyed calm seas, lovely weather and spectacular scenery as we headed to Rinca and Komodo Islands. We made one landing on Rinca Island and had the most remarkable time with several Komodo Dragons. The dragons were particularly active and we got to observe interactions between males and females. This iconic species must be one of the most striking to see. Their prehistoric appearance fits beautifully with the islands: it felt like a film set for a dinosaur movie.
