A male Tiger in a lake, Ranthambhore National Park, India. Riddhi’s male cub is almost two years old and is about to become fully independent. We could see him hidden amongst the trees. He is more of a subadult than a cub. Riddhi is one of the established females in the park and has one more male cub and a female cub in tow. The male cub emerged from the jungle and headed to the cooling water. He seemed to be eating some of the pond plants before heading back into the trees. What a fabulous treat to see a male tiger in a lake with a head shake as a bonus.
