A one month old elephant calf with the herd. Perhaps there is nothing more adorable than a very young elephant calf. Here in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara we were lucky enough to encounter this herd with a one month old calf. It never leaves its mother’s side and weaves its way between her legs and those of the other herd members. They all take extra care of the little bundle of fun. A great experience with a one month old elephant calf with the herd. A lovely part of any safari.
