A young male Jaguar explores the river at sunrise. As the sun rose over the Corixo Negro river in Brazil’s Northern Pantanal it generated the most spectacular sparkling and flashes on the surface of the river. It was most fortunate that at this very moment a young male Jaguar was exploring the river bank, slowly testing for possible prey. At one point he stopped for a quick drink and was backlit by the sun. His whiskers and the water droplets falling from his mouth looked very impressive in this light. Such a great setting to watch as a young male Jaguar explores the river at sunrise.
