Cheetah and her six month old cubs. We had heard that a cheetah and her four six month old cubs had recently made an appearance in the Naboisho Conservancy, Maasai Mara, Kenya so we made a determined effort to find her on our morning game drive. Not long after sunrise we found them! The mother and three of the cubs were grouped together whilst the fourth cub was a little distance away. It soon set off to join the rest of the family. Much grooming ensued but the mother was keeping a careful eye on a jackal which was lurking in the background. The jackal wandered off and the cheetah and her six month old cubs settled down. We were to spend a lot of time with this family.
