Cheetah climbs a tree to look for prey. This cheetah had four six month old cubs in the Naboisho Conservancy, Maasai Mara, Kenya. The previous day she had taken down an impala and the family had had a big feast. But keeping four six month old cubs fit and healthy requires them to eat regularly. So the female was always on the look out for potential prey. This fallen tree made a great lookout as her cubs played below. We had seen the family play on and around this tree the previous day. Cheetahs are always scanning for their next meal and this cheetah climbs a tree to look for prey. What a magnificent big cat.
