Coyote and a successful hunt in Yellowstone National Park. It was very cold in the interior of Yellowstone National Park when we came across this Coyote which was clearly on a mission to hunt. The snowy environment and the silence of the scene was magical. Not a sound! It wandered through the deep snow listening for any sign of movement beneath the snow. Suddenly it stopped, cocked its head to one side and then leapt. After a while of frantic digging it emerged with its meal which was dispatched in short order. The Coyote then trotted off over the hill, presumably hunting as it went. What a treat to see a Coyote and a successful hunt in Yellowstone National Park.
