Female leopard wanders through the long grass on a windy afternoon. The wind had picked up during the afternoon in Kenya’s Maasai Mara when we spotted this leopard (known as Akira) walking through the windswept long grass. She was on the alert for prey. There was speculation that she had cubs stashed away somewhere but they had not yet been seen. As this female leopard wanders through the long grass on a windy day, one can only marvel at the power and grace of this magnificent big cat.
