Grizzly bear fishing for salmon. In Pavlof (or Pavlov) Harbour in South East Alaska, the river was flowing and the salmon were plentiful. This Grizzly bear was having great success in fishing for salmon. It was interesting that once its head was under water it would blow bubbles and then come up with a fish. It is evident from all the splashing and the number of salmon breaking the surface of the water just how many fish were in the river and trying to head up the falls to their spawning grounds. A grizzly bear fishing for salmon has a relatively easy task.
