The Ivory Gull is true Arctic species spending their entire lives in the high Arctic and perfectly adapted to this harsh environment. Whilst they will take fish and crustaceans, they are mostly scavengers particularly of Polar Bear kills. The ivory gull, a striking bird of the Arctic, is known for its pure white plumage and distinctive black legs and beak, which contrast beautifully against its icy surroundings.
