Leopard and her cub come down from the tree. Early in the morning ee had watched this leopard (known as Sankuet) and her six month old male cub finish off an Impala carcass high in a tree in the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. We had seen them over the course of the previous couple of days making the most of the kill the mother had made earlier. There was very little left on the carcass so they both came down from the tree and headed off to sheltered pace to rest for the day. The agility of these big cats is amazing to see as this leopard and her cub come down from the tree.
