Leopard cub in a tree during a thunderstorm. It was late in the evening and the light was fading in Naboisho Conservancy, Kenya when we found this Leopard cub (Nadala). She was almost fully grown and would soon be leaving her mother (Sakuet). She was sitting in a fallen tree whilst thunder rumbled around. She moved around in the tree stretching and yawning. Suddenly she was lit up by a flash of lightning and another rumble of thunder. At this point she jumped down from the tree, thought about chasing some Guinea Fowl but thought better of it and wandered of into the undergrowth. Time to head to camp with the threat of rain nearby. A nice way to end the game drive watching a Leopard cub in a tree during a thunderstorm.
