Leopard on the rocks. As the day drew to a close in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, we suspected the female leopard we had seen much earlier was resting in the bushes. So, with the thought she might emerge and head towards a tree where she had stashed a kill, we positioned the vehicle accordingly. The hope was she would head towards us across a rock-strewn grassy area. Our wishes came true as she walked across the rock-strewn area making for some interesting shots. Watching this leopard on the rocks was very special. What a beautiful big cat.
