Lion pride feasts on a Wildebeest carcass. The news that the Lions of the Breakaway Enesikiria pride had taken down two Wildebeest reached us late in the morning in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. When we arrived on the scene theLions had been very busy and had bloodied faces and filled bellies but there was still more to eat. There was much squabbling and growling despite there being plenty of food and nearby was an untouched Wildebeest carcass. It was a rather gruesome sight but it was fun to watch their antics as the Lion pride feasts on a Wildebeest carcass. The power of these big cats never ceases to amaze.
