Mating lions. Early one morning in the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, we found these two lions. We had seen them mating the previous day. This was one of the Lemick boys and a very fine specimen he was. It was not long before they began to mate. Watching mating lions is always fun because the sounds of the growling can be most impressive.
