A perfect example of an aqautic hunt

Polar bear on an aquatic hunt for a bearded seal When we found her, this female polar bear was clearly hunting and in the distance we could see her prey: a beared seal. What followed was a perfect example of an aqautic hunt except she failed to catch her prey. She walked carefully and quetly over the ice, standing a few times to keep the target in sight. Then she entered the water and tried to find a way through the ice floes to the seal. Every now and then her head would appear as she locked on to her target. She emerged from the sea and tried to loacte her prey. However, the bearded seal was now in the water and safe for the moment. The polar bear wandered away. She would surely try again later.
