White Rhinos meet at the waterhole. As we waited in the dark at Zimanga Private Game Reserve, South Africa, a female White Rhino and her rather mature calf appeared on the scene. Both had been de-horned for their safety. From the gloom emerged a second White Rhino with her much younger calf, their horns intact. They were very comfortable with each other. There was a charming interaction between the younger calf and the second female and then the young calf went on to suckle for quite some time. They then wandered off into the gloom.
