A cheetah family on a chilly morning. It was a chilly morning when we found this cheetah family in Kenya’s Maasai Mara close to Kicheche Bush Camp in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy. The four, four month old cubs huddled together with their mother to warm up and do some mutual grooming. The mother was alert, on the lookout for prey but also animals which might be a threat to her cubs. It must be tough for a cheetah family on a chilly morning given that overnight it was much colder. Once warm they will be on the move looking for suitable prey.
