Leopard-hyena interaction. In the Maasai Mara, we had followed this famous leopard (called Fig) for sometime before she settled down at the base of a bush to rest and wash. She was approached by a lone hyena but saw it off with no problem. What a beautiful animal....
On this trip to India, we visited Jawai in Rajasthan and saw these beautiful leopards in this most remarkable setting. Seeing these cats prowling around on massive rocky outcrops was very different to seeing their equivalent in Africa.
