A six-week old lion cub pesters its mother. In the Naboisho Conservancy of Kenya’s Maasai Mara, a lioness from the Breakaway likisiausiau pride had two six week old cubs. She had the cubs in a den in dense bushes and often it was difficult to see them. On this occasion, one of the cubs was mostly hidden away, but one of them was demanding attention. Such small lion cubs cab be very vocal and this one was no exception! Watching big cats never fails to be impressive. Certainly, it was a treat to watch as a six-week old lion cub pesters its mother.
