Cuteness overload as a tiny elephant calf rubs against mum’s legs. We had been following a herd of elephants with several small calves for awhile in Kenya’s Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Of particular interest, was a mother and her tiny calf just a few weeks old. The calf never left its mother’s side. As the mother browsed on the branches of a bush the calf sorted out an itch by vigorously rubbing against its mother’s legs. Cuteness overload as a tiny elephant calf rubs against mum’s legs. These gentle giants are always a delight to watch!
