Elephant herd with a tiny calf.
We found a breeding herd of elephants on morning in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. There were several young calves with the herd but we spotted one that was very young indeed. We watched the antics of this young one for quite some time. It stuck very close to its mother as they browsed on the bushes. Great to watch these gentle giants and particularly so when the elephant herd with a tiny calf puts on such a good display.
