On a very chilly morning a lion pride gets going. On a very chilly morning in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara we set off to try and find the Iseketa pride of lions and find them we did! The light was still rather poor but we got into a great position as the lions started to move directly towards us. Their bellies were full so it seemed they had made a kill overnight. They were heading to some thick bushes where they would probably rest for the day as they digested their food from last night. As the lions walked towards us one could see their breath condensing in the cold morning air. On a very chilly morning a lion pride gets going but only to rest for a long period of time. Lions are very good at this!
