A lovely bonding session between a leopard and her six month old male cub. This leopard (known as Sankuet) and her six month old male cub have a territory in the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. They had both feasting on a kill in a nearby tree. Sankuet was grooming herself in the shade of a tree and her cub was round and about full of energy. He joined his mother and there was mutual grooming and playing to strength the bond between them. To witness a lovely bonding session between a leopard and her six month old male cub is wonderful. There was the occasional silent snarl as a hyena wandered near by. Such stunning big cats!
