Playful Polar Bear cubs of the year. In Svalbard’s Raudfjord, a Polar Bear and her two cubs of the year (COYS) were making their leisurely way across the fast ice. The cubs became quite boisterous and began playing with each other. Their mother looked on with bemusement. It is hard work for the mother to ooo after two very demanding COYS! Eventually, the cubs realised their mother was now some distance away and set off after her. A lovely encounter but difficult filming conditions – massive shimmer because of the brilliant sunshine and distance to the Polar Bear family. Great fun watching the cubs at play.
