Polar Bear in the pack ice. North of Svalbard, the blues of the pack ice were very striking as this magnificent Polar Bear made its way effortlessly through the ice. WE had seen this bear several times over the course of a few days. It was curious and came towards our small boat to check us out. After exploring the ice, it wandered off into the distance. A memorable encounter with this apex predator.
