Lioness with three very playful four month old cubs. As the day was drawing to an end in Kenya’s Maasai Mara we were hoping that this lioness and her three four month old cubs would emerge from the dense bushes in front of us before the light failed. Our patience paid off as the family came out of the bushes and the cubs were in a playful mood. Young lion cubs are always good value and we very much enjoyed their antics. Mara North Conservancy delivered as a lioness with three very playful four month old cubs performed in front of us. As the light faded, we left them to get on with their business.
