Leopard and her six month old male cub playing. We found this leopard near a tree in which she had stashed her kill of a Thomson’s gazelle. She had a six month old male cub and he must have been nearby in the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya’s Maasai Mara. As she lay grooming her cub ran up and joined her. There was a very lovely session of playing and bonding as well as some mutual grooming, before the cub ran off. It is always a joy to watch a leopard and her six month old cub playing and bonding. Such gorgeous big cats!
